Sami Spencer

Sami Spencer joined Missoula Bone & Joint as Chief Executive Officer in 2008, bringing over 25 years of experience in orthopedic management, along with expertise in other specialties and healthcare consulting. Sami holds an undergraduate degree in Business Management from Malone College in Canton, Ohio, and is a Fellow and Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) with the American College of Medical Practice Executives (ACMPE). She is also a Certified Medical Manager (CMM) through the Professional Association of Health Care Office Management (PAHCOM). Sami is an active member of several national and local associations, including the Montana Medical Group Management Association and the Montana Ambulatory Surgery Center Association. Sami has earned several notable awards, including MGMA’s Extraordinary Leader Award (2021), Montana MGMA’s Administrator of the Year (2021), and Montana’s Top Large Company Leader (2021). Under her leadership, the practice was recognized as a 2022 Top Workplace in the USA and ranked #2 in Montana’s Top Large Companies.
