Ryan McCann, PT, DPT, ATCDoctor of Physical Therapy
Ryan is from Frostburg, Maryland, but he has enjoyed his time in Missoula at the University of Montana where he received his doctorate of physical therapy in May 2021. He earned his bachelor of science degree in athletic training from Wheeling Jesuit University, West Virginia, in 2016. During his undergraduate years he played soccer for the Wheeling Cardinals at the NCAA Division II intercollegiate level.
After graduate school, Ryan worked as an athletic trainer in the high school setting for two years before moving to Montana to attend physical therapy school. One of his main goals is to foster a good working relationship with the Missoula Bone & Joint Athletic Training team to provide a smooth transition back to sports for young athletes after post-injury rehabilitation in the clinic setting.
Ryan is so pleased to join the Missoula Bone & Joint Physical Therapy department and work as part of this multi-disciplinary team with our surgeons, sports medicine physician, physician assistants and support staff.
