Erin Flaherty, MDAnesthesiologistDr. Erin Flaherty earned her medical degree from the University of Vermont College of Medicine and went on to complete her internship at Primary Children's Medical Center at the University of Utah. She returned to the University of Vermont for her residency and later pursued fellowship training at Vanderbilt University, specializing in Regional and Acute Pain Management. She is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology, licensed in Montana, and a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA).
Originally from Montana, Dr. Flaherty moved to Missoula in the summer of 2025 to be closer to family and friends. She earned her undergraduate degree from Carroll College in Helena, MT. Although she initially considered a career in education, her love for science and working with her hands drew her to medicine—a profession that allows her to combine both technical skill and personal connection.
As an anesthesiologist, Dr. Flaherty enjoys meeting new patients each day and providing a highly individualized approach to anesthesia care. She finds great satisfaction in improving the experience for patients who may have had challenges with anesthesia in the past. Her focus is on ensuring every patient feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for, leading to a smooth procedure and recovery.
