Michael enjoys working with a variety of patient populations as well as many different orthopedic conditions, including post-operative care, sports injuries, and overuse diagnoses. His interests include tendon pathology, lower extremity injuries, and shoulder injuries. He is a certified strength and conditioning specialist and enjoys working with athletes and individuals looking to become more active in their daily lives. Michael is passionate about empowering his patients to use exercise to improve their strength, well-being, and confidence.
Michael Kerns is from Beaverton, Oregon, but has loved living in Missoula over the last several years. He received his doctorate of physical therapy in May 2022 from the University of Montana and completed his undergraduate degree in exercise science from Pacific University in Oregon. During undergrad, he played collegiate basketball for Pacific University. He enjoys traveling, fly-fishing, and hiking with his wife and dog.
