General orthopedics addresses all sorts of problems with the entire musculoskeletal system: Dr. Price is skilled in dealing with bones, joints, tendons, cartilage, nerves, ligaments, and muscles, not to mention the wide variety of disorders that affect this system. If you’ve been feeling the effects of pitching in your after-work baseball league, you tweaked something in an epic crash on powder day, or you’re feeling the effects of getting older and the pain just isn’t going away, then meeting with an orthopedic specialist like Dr. Price could be a smart next step.
Three bones make up your shoulder joint, the clavicle (collarbone), the scapula (shoulder blade), and the humerus (upper arm bone). It’s one of the most movable joints in your body, but it can also be one of the most unstable. Because of that instability, injury is pretty common. This could be something like a strain or sprain, arthritis or tendinitis, or it could be more extreme, like dislocation, torn rotator cuffs or fractures. Because of the wide range of possible issues, getting diagnosed and treated quickly is especially important. Dr. Price can give you insight into how you might best move forward to heal and get back to living life to the fullest.
When he’s not in surgery or with patients, he is involved with the injury management and treatment of the athletes at Sentinel High School. You can also find him enjoying outdoor activities, like fly fishing, running, curling and spending time with his family.
