Knee and hip replacement surgery got Jim back doing the things he loves.

Meet Jim, a patient with Dr. Gary Willstein for over 10 years. Dr. Willstein has provided quality orthopedic care with a knee replacement and a hip replacement, and recently the other hip replaced, to keep this active 77 year old doing the things he enjoys. “Thank you Dr. Gary Willstein, for making it possible for Jim to have a life….a good active life. These pictures were taken in July, which proves that Jim is doing just great with his new hip.” testimony from Jim’s wife, October 2020.

As you can see Jim’s activities are not the normal activities for a 77 year old man. Jim is a testament that with some surgical help you can keep doing the things you enjoy and lead an active lifestyle living in the mountains near Philipsburg, Montana and travelling.

Jim’s wife, Jan, sent these photos to Dr. Willstein as a thank you. “None of this would have been possible if it were not for his total hip replacement in 2007, total knee replacement in 2017 and the other hip replacement in 2020. We are both so grateful to Dr. Willstein. It is a hard decision to have these surgeries but if these pictures will let even one person know that they can still lead an active lifestyle and not miss out on so much fun, we are happy to share.”
