Open Extremity MRI

In an effort to provide the most convenient orthopedic care available, Missoula Bone & Joint offers on-site Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI).  Our extremity MRI is specifically designed to scan without the confines of a tunnel.  Patients who experience claustrophobia and anxiety in smaller places can breathe easier in an open environment.  Only the anatomy of interest is under the magnet.

The images are quickly sent to a group of board-certified radiologists at Missoula Radiology for reading and our physicians usually have the results in two business days.
